Code:    15-150
Date:    05/15/2015 - 12/31/2015
Duration: 7 months, 17 days

The project explores Lumad migration with regard to trajectories, its perceived triggers, the effects on families and migrants, and determine the cases of human trafficking, especially among vulnerable groups such as young women and children. Four hundred respondents from four tribes in eight selected IP communities from the provinces of North Cotabato, Misamis Oriental, Davao Oriental, and Compostela Valley will participate in the survey and interviews. It is expected that the results will inform local goverments units and other groups on how to address the concerns of IPs, especially those relating to human trafficking of women and children.
