A Baseline Research on the Girl-Children of Migrant Families in Vulnerable Communities

The research gathers baseline data on 200 girl-children, aged 12 to 18, of distressed migrant families in two vulnerable communities in Quezon city. Its results and the information it generatesf will be inputs in AMRSP's five-year strategic plan that addresses the concerns of families with migrant members, particularly human trafficking and teenage pregnancy. They will also be used by AMRSP in recommending interventions that respond to these problems confronting girl-children to the city government. The project is an attempt by AMRSP to link popdev to the migration concerns of its outreach ministry.
